The Iranian National Museum of Science and Technology by a memorandum of understanding with Cyrus Borzou, Space Science & Astronautics Journalist and Writer will host an exhibition on " Space Collection".
This exhibition is a space object collection gathered by Cyrus Borzou. According to the 3-year agreement signed on Monday, September 16th, between Dr. Seifollah Jalili, INMOST Chairman, and Cyrus Borzou, Space Science & Astronautics Journalist a think tank and a working group will be formed to design the structure and content of the astronautical exhibition and the related events.
Cyrus Borzou was born in 1953 and he began his journalism career by translating
and writing space articles in prestigious Iranian scientific journals such as Scientist, Science and Life and Scientific Information. He was the editor of Kayhan Scientific, the first monthly Iranian journal for teenagers, whose first version published in the late 1980s. He also owns two books titled "Man and Space" and "The First Astronautics." He has also accumulated scientific resources and his talks with the world's great scientists and astronauts in 30 volumes of astronautics books.
The space Collection
This collection includes objects that have been gathered by Cyrus Borzou for over 50 years. The majority of these objects are gifts donated by various astronauts and experts of these fields and some have been purchased; this collection has been exhibited in Iran cities and has welcomed by visitors.
This collection includes more than 15000 objects, many of which are unique, such as space suits, fragments of Mir Space Station, astronaut gloves, space stamps, astronaut food, world-renowned astronauts signed photos, spacecraft, and rockets maquettes and space posters.
